A reel showcasing Paris, whose level art and lighting I was primarily responsible for in the 2018 game 11-11: Memories Retold. Polish, asset creation, and support from the rest of the art team. Paris was the first level I worked on that required serious kit building. Its almost entirely made out of modular city and interior pieces that can be snapped together on a grid, accommodating various room sizes, elevation changes, and orientations. It was a challenge getting the lighting right between the interior and exterior, making that transition feel natural required many iterations before hitting the right balance. The exterior is specifically inspired by the Montmartre district in Paris, but with a lot of artistic license. Hats of to Francois and Patrick for strong work on this one too.
