A reel showcasing Passchendaele, whose level art and lighting I was primarily responsible for in the 2018 game 11-11: Memories Retold. Polish, asset creation, and support from the rest of the art team. Passchendale was my nemesis and my baby. It was the first level on the project that I tackled and it was by far my biggest. I created the basic terrain shapes using substance designer to create a slight valley and litter it with shell craters, and then imported that into unity and worked it up from there. The cathedral was all built in Maya and destroyed using a stack of increasingly buggy boolean operations that would come back to haunt me in a serious way. Massive Kudos to the two LDs who worked on this over the course of the project, Francois and Patrick.
